Two, One-Of-A-Kind Art Collections at The Highground

-They have had the privilege to bring two, one-of-a-kind art collections to The Highground; Women in Uniform & Remembering the Forgotten War: Korea; are original works of art done by Navy veterans while in service.Anyone interested in beautiful art work that tells the history of our US Navy in picture, won't want to miss out on this one. There are pieces from WWII, Korea, Vietnam and present day. Several different styles and mediums are available to admire and study. 14 different artists have work on display, with Herbert Hahn, Christine Cancelli and Hugh Cabot just to name a few.
It is not often extraordinary collections like these are available to people in our rural areas, and free of charge, so take advantage of this opportunity while it is here. The exhibit will remain on display till 4pm on April 30th. After that you will have to travel to Washington, DC to experience it.
