Average Price for Corn in Wisconsin for February was $3.77

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The February 2015 average price received by farmers for corn in Wisconsin was $3.77 per bushel, according to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report. This was up six-cents from the January price, but 53 cents less than February 2014.The soybean price, at $10.00 per bushel, was down 20 cents from January and down $3.20 from the previous February. Oats were $3.58 per bushel, up 28 cents from the January price, but $1.03 below February 2014.
All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $117.00 per ton in February, down $13.00 from January, and $64.00 less than February 2014. The alfalfa hay price averaged $125.00 per ton, down $11.00 from last month and $70.00 less than last year. The other hay price averaged $88.00, down $12.00 from January and a decrease of $41.00 from 2014.
