-The Neillsville City Council heard the Historic Preservation Commission Report at their meeting last week. The commission meeting took place on March 18th. It was decided that the 13 remaining calendars would be put at The Thirsty Bookworm and The Rocking Chair and try to be sold. The commission sold over 270 of them.
The commission also approved several historic landmarks to make changes to their buildings as long as the end result looks substantially close to the original design of the building. The commission also reviewed the new Historic Tour Brochure and they will be requesting photos of the 36 properties in the brochure.
Finally, the commission discussed speaking with the owners of Tufts' Mansion as they added a small window to the property without consulting the commission first.
