Committee Reports at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Heritage Days Committee Report at their meeting last week.The committee meeting took place on March 18th. The committee was presented the Miss Neillsville budget. They also discussed volunteers, schedules, the golf outing, tents and activity placement and Vic Ferrari setup, staging and tents. They also heard an update on the outdoor movie night, inflatables and activities.
The council also heard a report from the Community Fire Hall Board meeting held on March 19th. Neillsville Fire Chief Matt Meyer thanked the city for keeping the Fire Hall parking lot plowed. It was also stated that there are two abandoned sewer lines under the fire hall that have filled with sand and gravel, but as they are not causing any water to enter the sewer system, the Public Works Department is going to leave them.
