A New Name for a Long Time Clark County Facility, Part 2

-The facility formerly known as the Clark County Health Care Center has taken on a new name: The Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center.Executive Director Jane Schmitz and Admissions Coordinator Jenna Thieme said this is not the first time the facility has received a new name, but with a recent change of address, representatives from the facility thought now would be a good time to change the name to better reflect the services that the facility offers.
After the name was decided on, the facility had to go to the county board to get it approved.
Jane said, "Once the sub-committee made that decision then it needed to go to county board for their approval. So we had gone to county board in December of last year. They did vote 28 to 1 to move ahead with the name change for the facility along with the address change at that point."
"After we got that approval, what we needed to do then was start changing over our documents, our licenses, those types of things. So, officially, on February 1st, we became Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center."
"And so with that, we've been in the process of looking at updating our stationary, updating the signage along the highway, looking at other areas that need to be updated. Thinks you're not even thinking about! You don't realize all the places your name is listed and letting people know there has been a name change."
