-The Clark County 4-H has already been involved in some great events with plenty more on the horizon.Chris Hollar, Clark County's 4-H Youth Development Agent, talked about the summer camp opportunities happening for county 4-H members.
Chris said, "We've gotten our summer camps program and they're going to be hitting in June and July. We have are overnight camp at Beaver Creek Reserve. We're going to camp with Eau Claire County and, I believe, it's Dunn County for the overnight there. We hope we get a lot of kids."
"And then we have a 3 day camp down at Wisconsin Dells at Upham Woods which is the UW-Extension Camp down there and we go with Marathon County, Wood County and Juneau County. And we go down there and that's for our age 12-14 kids, kinda that age group there. And near the end of July we have our day camp for our Cloverbud Camp. It's just a day so they can get use to being away from mom and dad."
Coming up on Wednesday, Christ will talk about the great support the county 4-H receives from local FFAs and parents, some projects coming up that will lead into the fair and a new event she'd like to have at the fair this year.
