Greenwood Administrators Hear Board Information at Recent Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board Members shared some information with the administrators at their recent meeting.A Building and Grounds committee, comprised of Shane Rassmussen, Joel Suda, Bill Herr, Jerome Krempasky, Jeanie Zimmer, Todd Fischer and Mark Lacke, will explore many ideas including, but not limited to, the elementary parking lot, elementary window replacement, chalkboard coverings, handicap bathroom options and baseball diamond improvements.
Also, while the full board is ultimately responsible for district finances, a sub-committee, comprised of Mark Shain, Bill Herr, Jeanie Zimmer, Todd Fischer and Mark Lacke, will meet to study consolidated debt options for financial savings and alternative compensation models for employees. Critical staff input will be implemented as ideas evolve.
Finally, the district has had a wonderful teacher response for Summer School proposals and Mr. Fischer and Mr. Lacke will work to maximize a wide array of enhancement classes.
