Greenwood School Board Selects New District Administrator

The Greenwood Board of Education has selected Todd Felhofer, current principal at Lincoln Elementary in Marshfield, as their next district administrator.Mr. Felhofer began his educational career teaching junior high social studies and language arts in the Mukwonago and Whitefish Bay school districts before joining the Marshfield administrative team in 1999. Under Mr. Felhofer's direction, Lincoln Elementary has earned several Wisconsin awards of recognition and most recently securing a DPI 21st Century Community Learning Center grant for after-school programs.
Mr. Felhofer has worked with his staff to improve student performance through goal-setting; developed a differentiated instruction model; successfully implemented Professional Learning Communties (PLCs) for staff participation in decision-making; uses a building leadership team for effective communications and helped the Marshfield School District plan and promote referendums for building improvements as well as exceeding the revenue limit expenditure. He also serves as the elementary Summer School principal for the Marshfield District.
Mr. Felhofer has earned degrees and certifications from UW-Eau Claire, UW-Oshkosh, Cardinal Stritch and UW-Superior. Besides his undergraduate social studies work, Mr. Felhofer holds a Reading Teacher license. Mr. Felhofer's duties at Greenwood will begin on July 1, 2015.
The Greenwood School Board would like to extend a huge Thank You to all the community members, teachers, administration and support staff, who have participated in various ways throughout the Superintendent search process. Input from all sources was vital during the 3-month process of reviewing applications, holding focus groups and interviewing that led to the final selection of Mr. Todd Felhofer.
