Greenwood School Board Discusses 4K Program and More at Recent Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board members shared information with the administrators at their recent meeting.The board stated that structural changes to the district's 4K program for next year are yet to be finalized. There is agreement that smaller class sizes and a non-shared facility will be implemented and they'll be meeting with teachers soon.
The board is also going to further probe details of the selected quote for the security of the front HS entrance. Once plans are reviewed by Joel Suda the district will convert the doors to sets that are locked, only accessible after being buzzed by the office staff as monitored by camera.
Finally, it was mentioned that the 2015-16 school calendar will be approved and the parents of Greenwood's junior class are being surveyed regarding a preferred 2016 graduation date and the regular April school board meeting has been moved from Monday, April 20th to Tuesday, April 14th at 6:30pm.
