Owen-Withee School Board Hears Administrators' Reports, Elementary

The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrators' Reports at their meeting on Monday.Elementary Principal Lance Batchelor reported on the "Read In" held on March 6th in celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday, he mentioned that planning for summer school is well underway and teacher course proposals were due by March 13th and that will start the scheduling process.
On Monday, March 16 Clark Electric was at the district to do a "Hot Line" demonstration to elementary students at 1:30 PM. He also said that Title I Family Night will be held on Tuesday, March 24th from 5-7PM and this year's theme is "Camp Read-a-Lot" and will revolve around a camping theme.
Finally, he mentioned that four teachers from the New Auburn School District will be visiting later this month to observe how Owen-Withee teachers are using the Everyday Math curriculum in their classes.
