Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Resolutions Regarding Snowmobile/ATV/UTV Trail Maintenance

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved several resolutions at their meeting on Tuesday.The board approved two resolutions dealing with the county's snowmobile and ATV/UTV trail systems. The first gave the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department permission to apply for a grant for snowmobile trail maintenance. The county is eligible for $250 per mile and they currently maintain 377.5 miles of trails.
The second was similar to the first, but it's applying for a grant to help with the maintenance of the county's ATV/UTV trails. The county is eligible for $600 per mile for a summer trail, $100 per mile for a winter trail, $100 per mile for the UTV trails and $287 per mile for any routes. The Forestry and Parks Department will begin the applications for both.
Finally, the board approved offering condolences to the family of Elvin Fleming, a former board member, who passed away recently.
