Marshfield Woman Connected to Missing Person Case Appears in Court

A Marshfield woman appeared in Wood County Court regarding her connection with a missing person case.

According to Wood County authorities, they were searching for missing Marshfield man Zachary Vasa.  Human remains were found in mid-March that were identified as Vasa.  Last summer, authorities had multiple hits on a vehicle and property that the woman, Stephanie Trewyn, had a connection too.

Trewyn was facing charges of hiding a corpse and resisting/obstructing an officer.  During her court appearance, Trewyn waived her preliminary hearing and entered a not guilty plea to the charges against her.  She’ll be back in court on April 21st.
