Donations and More Approved at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board approved several donations at their meeting on Monday.Donations were accepted and thank you letters signed for Grassland Dairy Products for cases of popcorn, butter and a concession stand bound butter dispensing machine, the Greenwood Booster Club monetary gifts, along with the Sandelier Family, to the Basebal, Softball and Track programs and Black River View Apartment residents for school supplies.
The board approved several volunteers including Patrick Boos, Louise Hackel, Dave Larson and Anthony Simoli. Megan Brown's contract as assistant softball coach was also approved. The Spanish Club's annual Out-of-State Field Trip to the Festival of Nations in St. Paul was also approved.
Finally the board heard an Administrator Report from Interim Administrator Mark Lacke. He reviewed recent reports that estimated Greenwood's loss of approximately $35,000 of taxpayer money which is being used without accountability for private school vouchers.
