Owen-Withee School Board Approves Technology Lease Renewal

-The Owen-Withee School Board approved the Technology Lease Renewal at their meeting last week.After hearing Julie Kodl's presentation earlier in the meeting and getting several questions answered, the board unanimously approved continuing the 1:1 program by renewing the lease for technology equipment. The three year lease will not exceed the money committed three years ago so there will be no increase in budget dollars needed to continue the program.
Also, the booster club has developed plans to build a storage facility for football, baseball and softball. The building will be a 20'X36' garage-type structure that will be partitioned off so each sport has its own section. Cost of the building will be approximately $15,000. The booster club offered, and the board accepted, a $5000 donation toward the facility. The district will start a fund and seek other donations in hopes that the building can be built this summer. The board extends a sincere thank you to the booster club for their continued support of Owen-Withee's programs.
