Greenwood Residents Hear from School Superintendent Candidates: 3rd Candidate, Kevin Yeske

-Greenwood residents had the opportunity on Wednesday afternoon to hear from three highly qualified candidates looking to become the Greenwood School District's next superintendent.The third and final candidate was Kevin Yeske who graduated from Holmen and began teaching there in 1986. He also taught and coached in the Greenwood School District for 9 years before leaving in 1999. He also taught in Marshfield, was the principal at Auburndale for 7 years and was the Associate Principal in Wisconsin Rapids until 2012 and the past few years he's been the Junior High Principal in Rapids.
When he was asked why he decided to come back to Greenwood, he said, "why not?" He said Greenwood has a lot of pride and he's excited about the opportunity to be the district's Superintendent. He said he can't wait to be a part of the facility again and he started in Greenwood, so he knows the support the district receives from the community.
The 40 citizens in attendance had the opportunity to ask questions as well and the topics include community involvement, budgeting, cooperation with law enforcement and more.
