-The scams of a Neillsville woman continue to come up from local businesses and organizations.Korinia Feight of Neillsville has been accused of scamming money from local businesses including Buck's Dollar Bar and Apple Valley Bar and Restaurant. She's also accused of scamming businesses in Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids.
The Neillsville Police Department re-posted an alert on their Facebook page due to some information they received yesterday. An organization, who wished to remain nameless, but is in the business of helping those in need, said that Feight asked them for gas money and to purchase some equipment she needed for a new job. They helped her, but she took the equipment and returned it for cash at a retail store in Marshfield.
Feight has been charged in Clark County with 2 counts of misappropriation of I.D. information to obtain money and 3 counts of theft. No new charges are expected in regards to this new information. She appeared in court last week without a lawyer and will be back in court today with an attorney. She had a $1,000 signature bond set against her, she is not allowed to have contact with some of the victims she had scammed and she can't use a credit or debit card unless they're in her name.
