Report of Officers at Neillsville City Council Meeting

Thursday, March 12th, 2015 -- 9:34 AM

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Report of Officers at their meeting on Tuesday.

The department had a total of 123 complaints, 56 service calls, 52 traffic citations, 92 traffic warnings, 4 traffic crash investigations, 9 ordinance citations, 17 adult arrests, 3 cases referred to the District Attorney for charges, 8 juvenile cases and 36 parking citations.

Officer Aaron Bembnister spoke with a group of children at Connie's Kids Daycare and Officer Jason King completed Drug Interdiction training at the Rice Lake Technical College. Chief Scott Klueckmann attended the Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association Mid-Winter Conference in Wisconsin Dells and attended the 2015 New Chief's and Sheriff's Training Conference.

He also implemented two new department policies and made a change to an old one. He implemented the body camera policy and post-shooting personnel support policy. He made a change to the department's use of force policy.
