Greenwood Residents Hear from School Superintendent Candidates: 1st Candidate, Dennis Kaczor

Thursday, March 12th, 2015 -- 8:15 AM

-Greenwood residents had the opportunity on Wednesday afternoon to hear from three highly qualified candidates looking to become the Greenwood School District's next superintendent.

The first candidate was Dennis Kaczor, who grew up south east of Neillsville. He graduated high school in 1989, attended college in Tampa, Florida and spent 10 years in the National Guard after he graduated. He taught for 15 years in Mosinee and was the principal in Hillburg after and is currently the principal in Adams-Friendship.

Mr. Kaczor said he has great respect for Greenwood, knows the district is above average in state testing, has a support network in place as he knows John Gaier, the Neillsville Administrator, and Bob Houts, the Owen-Withee Administrator, and is ready and prepared to accept the challenge of being superintendent.

The 40 citizens in attendance had the opportunity to ask questions as well and the topics included community involvement, budgeting, cooperation with law enforcement and more.
