Thorp Woman Facing Child Abuse Charges in Clark County is Now Facing Similar Charges in Wood County

-A Thorp woman charged with child abuse here in Clark County is facing charges in Wood County as well.23-year-old Amber Abramczak is facing child abuse charges here in Clark County after a doctor found fractured bones in her child's arm, leg and foot. Abramczak told authorities that she had become upset with the infant and pressed and squeezed her limbs very hard. She pleaded not guilty by insanity last month.
She's also facing similar charges in Wood County after a doctor at St. Joseph's Hospital saw her force a bottle into her child's mouth, tearing the skin between the child's lip and front teeth. After the child was admitted to the hospital, doctors discovered the broken bones in the arm and leg were done before the hospital visit and the broken bones in the foot occurred while the child was there.
Abramczak will appear in Wood County Court at the end of this month and will have her next appearance in Clark County in April.
