Tanker Leaks Asphalt On I-94

There was a tanker leaking asphalt on I-94 near Black River Falls on Friday around 5:30amTroopers were called to a disabled vehicle on the right shoulder of I-94 and discovered the tanker was leaking hot mix asphalt.
The department closed the lane and the La Cross Area Hazmat and Black River Falls Fire Department responded for cleanup supervised by the Wisconsin DNR.
Mathy Construction assisted with removing the remaining asphalt from the tanker. There were no injuries in the incident
