A Thorp woman has officially been charged in Clark County Court with zip-tying a puppy’s legs.
According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, last fall they received a report of a dog that had been found on Pine Road in Thorp with its two front legs zip-tied together. The sheriff’s department said the dog had a laceration on its legs so deep you could see the bone. Tips from the public eventually led to Jill Warminski of Thorp.
She stated she couldn’t take care of the dog and couldn’t find anyone to take it. Warminski is free on a $1,000 signature bond and is facing charges of mistreatment of animals and obstructing an officer.
