Neillsville School Board Hears Administrators' Reports

The Neillsville School Board heard the Administrators' Reports at their meeting on Monday.
Elementary Principal Tim Rueth reported on attendance, February 2nd-6th was National School Counseling Week, February 9th-13th was School Bus Driver Week, February 13th was the District Spelling Bee and on February 17th-19th the 2nd Grade went to the Dental Clinic. Also, he said that on February 26th the 5th Grade had their musical and there was no school for K4 students, Parent Teacher Conferences were February 26th and 27th and there was no school on the 27th, March 2nd-6th is Dr. Seuss Week and March 2nd is Cuddle Up With A Book Night.
Mr. Rueth also talked about testing stating that on March the 3rd and 4th Grade is doing NAEP testing, on March 3rd and 4th ACT and WorkKeys testing will be done by the Juniors at the Legion, on March 4th the Seniors will take NAEP testing, on March 5th the 8th Grade will take NAEP testing, on March 9th the 1st-6th Grades will begin skating in Phy Ed. and March 11th is the district's next 2 hour late start day.

High School Principal Craig Anderson reported on attendance, February 4th and 5th they gave presentations for students in 8th through 11th on the scheduling process, he mentioned planning for college and financial information, February 9th was preliminary course requests, Infinite Campus, the scheduling process, March 11th is the Academic Letter Ceremony, he gave an Open Campus update, last week was Middle School Spirit Week and this past week was National FFA Week.
