Marshfield Woman Causes 4-Car, Chain Reaction Crash

-A Marshfield woman caused a 4-car, chain reaction crash Tuesday morning.According to the Marshfield Police Department, the crash happened at the intersection of Peach Avenue and East 14th Street around 7:45am. 20-year-old Ashley Guden looked down at her phone to turn off an alarm and when she looked up the vehicle in front of her had stopped.
She was unable to stop in time and she hit the vehicle. That impact caused the vehicle she hit to hit the next car, which then hit the 4th car that was stopped at the stop sign. The driver of the 3rd car, 54-year-old Bernadette Werner, was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Guden was cited for inattentive driving.
