Marshfield wrestlers Mitch Hertel and Josh Lang have reached the semi-finals in Division 1 at the WIAA State Individual Wrestling Tournament in Madison.D1-160 - Mitch Hertel (28-1) placed 6th and scored 8.00 team points.
Champ. Round 1 - Mitch Hertel (Marshfield) 28-1 won by decision over Austin Powell (Sauk Prairie) 43-2 (Dec 2-1)
Quarterfinal - Mitch Hertel (Marshfield) 28-1 won by major decision over Peyton Einerson (Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln) 36-10 (MD 15-3)
D1-195 - Josh Lang (31-5) placed 6th and scored 8.00 team points.
Champ. Round 1 - Josh Lang (Marshfield) 31-5 won by major decision over Noah Martinez (Kettle Moraine) 35-8 (MD 9-0)
Quarterfinal - Josh Lang (Marshfield) 31-5 won by decision over Dakin Coons (Verona Area) 41-6 (Dec 12-10)
Both will wrestle in the Semi-finals on Friday night.
