This Year's Farm Technology Days in Eau Claire County Still Happening

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) The committee in charge of putting on Wisconsin Farm Technology Days this summer in Eau Claire County says plans are still in place to hold the event in July at Huntsinger Farms.
According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, Eau Claire County FTD Chairman Mike Gintner said in a memo this week that the local executive committee and state office are in full swing preparing for the show on July 20-22, 2021.
"Farm Tech Days Eau Claire is officially on," said Gintner. "The program committees have put together an amazing range of interesting and entertaining sessions. There's something for everyone."
He added that local singer and song writer Chris Kroeze of Barron will perform each of the three days of the show during lunch time. But the board has decided to drop the extended hours on Wednesday afternoon.
As for safety protocols, Gintner says the executive committee is in close contact with Eau Claire city and county officials to make sure they have the best, most current information and safety measures in place as the date gets closer.
Huntsinger Farms was originally scheduled to hold the state's largest agricultural show in July 2020, but postponed it due to the coronavirus pandemic. By delaying by one year, the Eau Claire group essentially filled a gap year in the FTD schedule, as there was no show planned for 2021.
Clark County is already in line to bring the event to the Dennis and Suzie Roehl farm near Loyal in 2022.
