Neillsville School Board Approves 2015-2016 School Calendar

-The Neillsville School Board approved the 2015-2016 school year calendar at their meeting on Monday.Next year's calendar is similar to this year, but one difference would be having the Wednesday before Thanksgiving off in order to better accommodate the final school day for next year.
The board also approved the summer school course offerings for this summer as well, with the understanding that some of the courses may not occur depending on student interest. There were a couple new classes offered, but it was mentioned that the Washington D.C. trip will probably not happen this year due to lack of interest. However, to replace that, a less expensive Chicago trip may be added.
Overall, the Neillsville School District sees encouraging numbers for students enrolled in Summer School each year with minor fluctuations.
