A Reminder for Clark County Dog Owners
Wednesday, February 25th, 2015 -- 9:55 AM
-Clark County has issued a reminder to all dog owners. All dog owners in Clark County should be aware that rabies vaccinations and dog licenses are required under state statutes.
A vet should vaccinate your dog at 4 months of age and re-vaccinated within three years of the previous vaccination. Before a dog can be licensed, you must present proof that your dog has been immunized. If you'd like a lower licensing fee, you must also present proof that your dog has been spayed or neutered.
If you don't follow this statute, a minimum $5 late fee will be assessed to the owner for each dog that doesn't have a dog license and a minimum $50, but up to $100, fine will be assessed for any owner who has a dog that isn't vaccinated.
