Public Works Report at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Public Works Report before their meeting on Tuesday.The usual amount of work was done in the city the past couple weeks including equipment maintenance, snow and ice removal, hauled brush and compost, sand, salting, plowing, trimming and pruning trees, burned the brush pile, straightened signs and more.
The department did remove a dead tree in Listeman Park and they have two more they'd like to remove, but they're waiting for Xcel Energy to drop the street light wiring. The department also upgraded their radios and changed over to narrow band.
They also worked on street lighting, assisted with Winter Carnival set up and take down and they have one of the workers alternating weekly at the Sewer Department for training.
