Neillsville School Board Approves Wrestling Coop
Wednesday, February 25th, 2015 -- 8:16 AM
-The Neillsville School Board approved two agriculture classes to count as a science credit.By 2017, students will need to have 3 science and math credits to graduate from High School. To help students achieve that, the district approved having the Horticulture and Animal Science Classes count as half of a science credit.
The board also approved the two year contract for their Wrestling Coop with Greenwood and Loyal. One of the only changes to the agreement compared to previous is that Loyal would like to host a wrestling meet and host one every year.
The coop is a shared cost between the districts involved and the price a district pays is determined by the number of students enrolled. If another district wanted to join the coop, assuming they meet the deadlines, that can be done, but their cycle would be different depending on when they join.
