-The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a report early Sunday morning of a vehicle striking a utility pole and house.According to the department, the call came in just after 1am stating that a vehicle hit a utility pole and the wires were sparking and burning; however, when the department arrived they were not any longer due to a blown fuse.
The vehicle had struck the utility pole, breaking it, and hit two vehicles in the yard of the home, pushing one of the vehicles into the home. The damage to the house was mainly located around the porch area and was not too extensive.
The department was unable to locate the driver of the vehicle, Xcel Energy was dispatched to fix the pole, the Neillsville Ambulance and Clark County Sheriff's Department assisted and the fire department was on scene around 15 minutes.
