Mall of America Increased Security After Potential Terror Threat

(KARE) -The Mall of America implemented extra security precautions following a potential terror threat.Video surfaced Saturday, purportedly posted by the Somali terror group Al-Shabab, calling for attacks on the Mall of America and other places. The mall released a statement saying they are aware of the video and are working with law enforcement to ensure everyone's safety and security.
According to a report from Minnesota Public Radio, the nearly 77-minute video released online focused mostly on the conflict between Kenya and Somalia and the deadly attack in 2013 at the Westgate shopping mall in Kenya. Toward the end of the video, an unidentified man with his face covered, calls for similar attacks at the Mall of America and elsewhere.
The NSC is also weighing in saying at this time there is no indication of any specific, credible threat to the U.S.
