Tax Prep Clinics for Seniors Next Week

The Clark County Aging Department is completing Homestead credit applications, and fuels assistance if you have not filed yet, at the various Nutrition Centers in Clark County.This service is for folks age 60 and older. If a senior citizen needs assistance with completing simple income taxes, the department does have AARP Tax Volunteers assisting them. You must call the Aging Office to schedule an appointment. Homestead Credit is available to assist people in meeting the rising cost of property taxes and rental payments.
The clinics for next week will be held on Monday, February 23rd at the Loyal Nutrition Center, Tuesday, February 24th at the Colby Nutrition Center and Wednesday, February 25th at the Abbotsford Nutrition Center. They all start at 10:30am.
