-Authorities are asking local residents to be on the lookout for a woman that has scammed local businesses for money. On Wednesday evening, Korinia Feight of Neillsville walked into Apple Valley Bar and Grill asking for money. Her story was that she was out of gas money and needed to get to Hurley, Wisconsin for an emergency C-Section. The owner of the business was kind enough to give Feight $50, but a local law enforcement officer recognized her and informed the owner. When the owner confronted her, Feight said she was going to her car for her I.D. and drove off.
She pulled a similar scam at Buck's Dollar Bar earlier this month, was seen trying to scam people at Wal-Mart in Marshfield and scammed people at the Wisconsin Rapids Masonic Lodge.
Feight has been charged in Clark County with 2 counts of misappropriation of I.D. information to obtain money and 3 counts of theft. However, she hasn't been arrested yet and authorities are asking local communities and businesses to be cautious. Feight drives a maroon Chevy Lumina.
