Administrators' Reports at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting (Elementary)

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrators' Reports at their meeting on Monday of last week.Elementary Principal Lance Batchelor reported on Child Development Days, which were held on February 4th. 23 new students were screened for the district's 4K program.
The Seal-a-Smile Program will be held, and has been held, again this year in the elementary school. Two clinics were held on February 12th and 13th and two more will be held on February 18th and 19th. This program, coordinated by the Clark County Health Department, provides sealants, fluoride and oral health education to students free of charge.
Also, the 5th and 6th grade spelling bee was held on February 13th at 8:20 AM, spring pictures by Lifetouch will be taken on Tuesday, February 24th, Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, February 25th from 4-6 PM and kudos was given to Jacob Seidel, an 8th grader at OW Junior High, for winning the local Geography Bee.
