Clark County Aging Department Completing Homestead Credit Applications

-The Clark County Aging Department is completing Homestead credit applications and fuels assistance, if not filed yet, at the various Nutrition Centers in Clark County.This service is for folks age 60 and older. If a senior citizen needs assistance with completing simple income taxes, the department does have AARP Tax Volunteers assisting them. You must call the Aging Office to schedule an appointment.
If you have taxable income, you may be able to take a medical care deduction. If eligible, we will need proof of your health insurance cost, Medicare D plan, and long term care insurance.
The next clinic will be on Tuesday, February 17th at the Greenwood Nutrition Center starting at 10:30am.
