Neillsville Fire Department Responds to Chimney Fire

-The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a chimney fire Wednesday evening.The call came in around 8:40pm stating there was a chimney fire at 105 Hewitt Street in the city limits of Neillsville.
When the department arrived, smoke was venting from the chimney and there was some smoke in the house. The department used no water, as there was no fire, and they cleaned the chimney.
There was no smoke or fire damage, the department had no injuries, they were there around 20 to 30 minutes and they were assisted by the Neillsville Police Department with traffic control.
