Greenwood School District Searches for New Administrator, Interim Administrator Takes Over While the Search Continues, Final

Wednesday, February 11th, 2015 -- 10:52 AM

-The Greenwood School District is searching for a new administrator and while that process continues, the district is currently being run by Interim Administrator Mark Lacke.

After the recent resignation of Superintendent Jennifer Vogler, the district was seeking someone to fill the position while they searched for a full time candidate.

Mark Lacke fit into the position nicely. Mr. Lacke said that the Greenwood District has some wonderful people in key positions and now they need an administrator to help out in areas that may need some assistance.

He said, "I think Greenwood is a great community. There's a lot of community pride. They've got some super people in key positions, vital positions throughout the district, elementary and high school. And it's just a matter of getting the right person to fit that job and to help out where they see shortfalls and guide them with some leadership through things that are happening every day."

Mark will be at Greenwood through June and the board hopes to have a new administrator hired and ready to begin by July 1st.
