Public Works Report at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the public works report to begin the meeting on Tuesday evening.The usual amount of work has been done in the city the past two weeks, including park and equipment maintenance, snow and ice removal, sanding, hauling brush and compost, burning the brush pile, straightening signs and worked on street lighting as needed.
They also filled pot holes throughout the city and they cleaned and painted in the break room and restroom at the street department. They've also had to jet a storm drain on 21st Street twice now.
Finally, the demolition and back filling of the former Buck's Dollar Bar property is complete and all the city's requirements have been met with the exception of a silt fence installed to control runoff during the spring rains.
