Three People Killed in Traffic Crash Between Spencer and Marshfield

-Three people are dead after a serious accident on Highway 13 between Spencer and Marshfield.According to the Marathon County Sheriff's Department, the accident happened around 5pm near Karau Avenue off Highway 13 on Wednesday. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Two men were pronounced dead at the scene and a woman was taken to the hospital suffering serious injuries. Unfortunately, she passed away from her injuries. Their names have not been released pending notification of the families.
The southbound lanes of Highway 13 were closed for several hours while a team reconstructed the crash.
