Red Cross Blood Drive in Neillsville Collects 91 Pints of Blood

-91 pints of blood were collected at the Red Cross Blood drive held in Neillsville at the American Legion on Monday.Appreciation is extended to the many caring donors and volunteers within the community that made the drive a success. The 91 pints of blood collected may save the lives of over 273 patients in need.
Of those giving blood, several individuals reached totals into the gallons amount including Rosemary Murphy with 20 gallons, Wayne Opelt with 12 gallons, 10 gallons from Chuck Urban, Mark Brunner, Cathy Winter and Joseph Miller gave 6 gallons, Ruth Novak and Terry Opelt gave 4 gallons, 2 gallons from Laurel Bixby-Cook and 1 gallon from Lavina Swartzentruber.
Some first time donors included Robert Gribble, Enos Stutzman, Debbie Brey and Alexander Jevens. 11 workers from Cummins also came and donated.
