Black River Falls Police Investigating Robbery

-On January 29th around 6:40am, Officers from the Black River Falls Police Department were summoned to the Sunrise Restaurant located at 710 Water Street for a reported break-in to the business.According to the department, when they arrived, they noticed the robbers smashed out a window to get inside the restaurant. Once inside the robbers went directly to the cash register and stole approximately $90 and left the building. The burglary took place sometime between 11:30PM on January 28th to 6:40 AM on January 29th. The business owner not only suffered a cash loss but $1000 worth of damage to the window.
This matter remains under investigation. Citizens are asked that if they have any information relating to this or any other crime in the City, to contact the City of Black River Falls Police.
