-A Madison woman pleaded guilty to drug charges filed against her here in Clark County.Back in September, a confidential informant told the Clark County Sheriff's Department that he was in contact with a man who could bring him drugs from the Madison area. The Sheriff's Department, the Colby/Abbotsford Police Department and the West Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force set up a "buy bust" with the informant.
The departments followed the informant to the McDonald's parking lot in Abbotsford and waited as the informant made contact with the man and a woman that was with him. After it was established that both individuals had drugs with them and were intending to sell them, the departments executed the bust and arrested them both.
Nicole Thormann and Frederick Davis were arrested and charged with manufacturing and delivering cocaine which could hold a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison, a $50,000 fine or both. Thormann pleaded guilty to the charge in court on Thursday and she'll be sentenced in April. Davis will appear in court in March for a scheduling conference.
