Owen-Withee School Board Reviews Policy Series 800

The Owen-Withee School Board discussed a set of polices ready for committee review at their recent meeting.The 800 series of policies, which deal with School Community Relations, is ready for committee review. District Administrator Bob Houts will set up a meeting with the Policy Committee in the hopes that the 1st Reading can be done at the February meeting.
The board also heard some Communications. President Julie Wendler read a thank you note from Marlene Pietzen for the flowers that were sent during Wally's recent hospital stay. A thank you card from the elementary staff of the Christmas gift and one from Katie Hatlestad for the opportunity to attend the SLATE Conference were also read. Finally, a note from Frankie Soto, the Food Service Director, was read saying thank you for the 4 months of cooperation and growth in the food service department.
Finally, the board reviewed the make-up of the administrative team and why individuals are included in the group. They also reviewed what is included in a typical administrative contract in the District. No action was taken.
