Black River Falls Police Department Asking for Help with Car Dealership Robbery

-On Saturday, January 3rd, the Black River Falls Police Department responded to the Gross Motors Dealership in Black River Falls for a report of theft. Upon arrival, it was found that employees of the dealership had discovered that several vehicles had been broken into and parts from these vehicles had been removed.During the initial investigation it was found that four separate vehicles had been broken into by having the rear windows smashed out. The thieves once inside the vehicles then went about removing the third row seats of these vehicles. The estimated loss in this crime is approximately $5,000.00 dollars in property and damage.
The theft is believed to have occurred between the hours of January 2nd after 7:00 PM to January 3rd at 8:00 AM. City Police are encouraging any citizens with any information on this crime to contact the City Police Department at 715-284-9155.
