Administrators' Reports at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board heard the Administrators' Reports at their meeting on Monday.

Elementary Principal Tim Rueth reported on attendance, upcoming in service days, upcoming time off for students, January 21st being the end of first semester, and February 2nd is National School Counseling Week.

High School Principal Craig Anderson reported on attendance, February 26th-27th is Parent Teacher Conferences, a scheduling update, the Dorian Music Festival, the FFA, February 9th is a Forensics competition, Professional Learning Communities, in-services and late starts.

District Administrator John Gaier reported on a thank you card from the Moline family, two thank you notes from the Stini family, a proposal from Westland Insurance, an announcement about "Lucky" the robot, information about the Distance Learning Network, two Focus articles regarding property taxes, a summary of Wisconsin equalized values, an article entitled "Why Your Property Taxes Went Down?", a Marshfield News-Herald article, an article by Diane Ravitch, an article by POLITICO, an article from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, two articles about charter schools, information from the DPI, a state by state comparison of voucher schools, a letter to legislators, a WASB legislative alert, an SAA article on Assembly Bill 1, and an update on pool repairs.
