-Gas prices continue to fall in Wisconsin and across the nation.Wednesday's average price for regular unleaded gas in the state is below $2 per gallon for the first time since March 2009, according to Triple AAA. We've begun to see that in our area as well, when gas dropped to $1.99 here in Neillsville on Wednesday.
The national average gas price has fallen for more than 110 consecutive days, an all-time record. AAA estimates that Americans save about $14 billion on gasoline last year compared to 2013. 2015 could have an even bigger savings, assuming oil prices stay low. Americans could see a savings of $50-$75 billion.
