Neillsville Fire Department Provides Mutual Aid to Granton Wednesday Afternoon

-The Neillsville Fire Department provided mutual aid to the Granton Fire Department on Wednesday afternoon.The Granton Fire Department was called to a machine shed fire on Pelsdorf Avenue. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. The department said the shed is still standing, but there was significant heat damage to the building. They were able to save most of the equipment inside the shed, but a lot of tools were destroyed.
The Granton Fire Department was on scene for an hour and a half and there were no injuries. The Neillsville Fire Department provided a couple truckloads of water and stayed on scene until Granton had the fire under control before returning to Neillsville.
