Individuals Involved in Jackson County Home Invasion Appear in Court

-The individuals involved in a home invasion and armed robbery that occurred in December in Jackson County appeared in court on Tuesday.According to the Merrillan Police Department, 18-year-old James Hill and 17-year-old Nathaniel Gunderson went to a house on Hammond Street in Merrillan holding a pistol and demanded money and drugs. Police later arrested Hill and Gunderson and several felony charges have been filed against them including armed robbery, theft of moveable property and recklessly endangering safety.
On Tuesday, Hill and Gunderson appeared in court for a preliminary hearing, probable cause was found and the court proceedings will continue. They also requested a lower bond, but the request was denied.
