ARRIVES TODAY FOLLOWED BY MORE SNOW LATE MONDAY...
.THE SNOW HAS DIMINISHED ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHEAST IOWA...TOTALING 1/2 TO 2 INCHES. HOWEVER...SOME
VISIBILITY REDUCTIONS TO 1 MILE AT TIMES ARE OCCURRING DUE TO
BLOWING SNOW. LOOK FOR THE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW TO MOSTLY
DIMINISH BY 9 AM. IF TRAVELING...PARTICULARLY ALONG AND WEST OF
HIGHWAY 52...BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY TRAVEL. THE WIND MAY MAKE
TRAVEL DIFFICULT FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.
PLAN ON BITTER TO DANGEROUSLY COLD WIND CHILLS TO DEVELOP
TODAY...LASTING THROUGH FRIDAY. 20 TO 40 BELOW ZERO WIND CHILLS
WILL BE COMMON DURING THE MORNINGS AND NIGHTS. WIND CHILLS ARE
ALREADY 10 TO 20 BELOW ZERO ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHEAST IOWA.
ANOTHER MORE POTENT WINTER STORM MOVES IN FOR MONDAY AFTERNOON
INTO MONDAY NIGHT...BRINGING THE THREAT FOR A QUICK 6 OR MORE
INCHES OF SNOW. CURRENTLY...THE HIGHEST THREAT AREA LIES MAINLY
SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 90. THERE WILL LIKELY BE SIGNIFICANT TRAVEL
IMPACTS FOR SOME BEGINNING WITH THE MONDAY EVENING COMMUTE AND
LASTING INTO EARLY TUESDAY MORNING.
