Report of Officers at Neillsville City Counil Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Report of Officers at their meeting on Tuesday of last week.Neillsville Police Chief Scott Klueckmann reported that there were 26 3-hour parking violations for November, 1 overnight parking violation, 2 restricted parking violations and 1 handicapped parking violation.
He also said that the department had 105 complaints, 43 service calls, 14 traffic citations, 15 traffic warnings, 5 traffic crash investigations, 5 ordinance citations, 12 adult arrests, 4 cases referred to the Clark County District Attorney for charges and 6 juvenile cases.
Chief Klueckmann also mentioned that Jason King was given the offer for employment with the Neillsville Police Department and he'll begin on January 2nd. Officer Aaron Bembnister was promoted to the position of Department Field Training Officer, Officer Jacob Aumann was promoted to Evidence Room/Property Room Officer and the Department is going through a slight technology upgrade.
Some other items mentioned included an investigation of sexual assault on a minor, minor vehicle accidents, a drug bust in the parking lot of Shopko and Chief Klueckmann stated that a sex offender had taken up residence in Neillsville, but the city's ordinance didn't allow that so he has since left.
